Buyers’ Guide for Elenker Upright Walkers
Background of Elenker Company
Hitting the mobility aids scene in 2017, Elenker provides solutions to adults and seniors coping with mobility issues. Elenker provides a full range of mobility solutions including rollators and walkers used for comfort, durability, sturdiness and for easy, compact storage and transport.
Elenker offers mobility products that are lightweight (18.5 to 22 lbs.) and geared for users who need light assistance with mobility. They offer high-quality products at affordable prices.
The upright and rollator walkers are not built for heavy duty use, those who are weight dependent on a mobility device or for heavier users, who weigh more than 300 pounds. Although they offer rollators and upright walkers for tall users, most of their products are geared toward users between 5’3” and under 6’0”.
A leader in the mobility aids market, Elenker keeps their products on the cutting edge by listening to what customers want and delivering. In 2019, Elenker re-designed the upright walkers to change from mesh, sling-type seats to more comfortable padded seats. Elenker also added padded backrests and larger front wheels for more stability.
Elenker is based out of Chino, California. They have warehouses on both the east and west coasts in the United States, in Australia and the United Kingdom, which allows them to ship orders in the US and internationally.
Placing Orders
Orders can be placed on-line through the Elenker website. Most Elenker products come with a one-year limited warranty. To get more detailed information on what is and is not covered under warranty, you can call the company directly. You can also order replacement parts or accessories, such as a cup holder, by calling customer service.
Returns, Refunds, Replacements
You can return items for a refund within 30 days of purchase (not receipt), through the company website.
Elenker’s return policy states that you can receive a full refund or replacement if the product is damaged, defective or you received the wrong item, but you must notify them within two (2) days of receiving the item. The item must be unused if scheduling a refund or return.
Customer Reviews
There are some negative consumer reviews, indicating that Elenker walkers are unstable, unsafe, or disappointing. With that being said, Elenker receives mostly positive reviews and holds a consistent 4- out of 5-star customer rating to date.
Price Range of the Elenker Upright Walker
The price range of Elenker upright walkers vary greatly depending on where you buy it.
For reference, Elenker upright walkers typically fall between $189 to $249. Elenker products are sold on-line directly from their website or through ImagineLife.
Although it looks like there are numerous models, they are the same except for the color, red, silver or champagne. For the standard Euro Style upright walker, the prices are different based on the color you choose.
The Euro Style TALL upright walker is about the same price as a standard model, even with the added measures to accommodate taller users. The TALL upright walker has been out-of-stock for a while, more than likely due to COVID and shipping issues, but Elenker plans to re-stock these upright walkers by an as yet undetermined date in the future.
The more lightweight version of the Elenker upright walker is the least expensive.
Tips for Buying the Best Elenker Upright Walker
On-line vs. In-Person Shopping
It can be challenging to purchase something like an upright walker on-line because you need it to fulfill very personal, specific preferences and needs. When purchasing on-line, despite your best efforts at due diligence, you might be disappointed when you receive the product if it doesn’t tick all the boxes on your checklist.
If that’s the case, be sure to notify the company within a day or two, and make arrangements for return, refund, or replacement.
Regardless of the product you’re buying, on-line shopping just doesn’t give you the same experience as in-person shopping, where you can touch, feel, and try out the product first.
Review Warranties and Return Policies
It’s important to know what to do should the walker not meet with your expectations and you need to return it. Read through and understand all warranties and return policies to avoid further disappointment and frustration.
Budget Friendly
After knowing what you need in an upright walker, choose the most budget friendly model. Don’t feel pressured into buying the most expensive model available because budget-friendly models can and do deliver high quality at an affordable price.
An Upright Walker that Meets your Needs
Most importantly, be very sure of what you are looking for in a mobility device and what you need it to do to feel comfortable, safe, and secure when using it.
If a lightweight model works better for you, or a model geared for taller users, be sure you select a model that meets your physical needs and personal preferences.

- 8Reviews Summary + Pros & Cons - ELENKER Upright Walker Stand Up Folding Rollator Walker with 10 Front Wheels Padded Armrests Seat and Backrest for Seniors and Adults Red
I am 4” 10” 71 year old woman who weighs 134 pounds. I have used a steel rollator for quite some time, but am now developing “hunched” back. I would like to walk for longer periods of time than I presently do. I can only drive places when I have someone with me can to lift my steel walker in the car me and get it out for me when needed. I can walk with my tall walking stick when I go on short errands. I have a walking stick instead of a cane because I try not to hunch over as much as possible. Please let me know if your lightest weight, foldable walker is suitable for me. My husband and I also like to take cruise vacations. Thank you.
My wife purchased the Elenker Upright Walker
(HFK-9210KDM). We received on June 15, 2021. She loves it already. She feels much better walking upright, instead of the small walker she used before. Thanks.
I purchased a Elenker Upright walker & it’s been a life lifechanger for me. After having 3 back surgeries that were unsuccessful, I had a hard time walking a block. With the walker, I now walk 2 miles almost daily. I can walk parks, malls, & do everything with my family. I highly recommend these walkers.
Thanks for your comment, Barbara!
