The Delaware Assistive Technology Initiative (DATI) is a program of the Center for Disabilities Studies at the University of Delaware.
DATI connects Delawareans who have disabilities with the tools they need in order to learn, work, play and participate in community life safely and independently.
DATI provides no-cost, short-term equipment loans that let you “try before you buy”.

Program Description:
The goal of the AT Exchange, hosted by DATI, is to put AT equipment that is not currently being used into the hands of someone who can benefit from it.
The program is designed to facilitate equipment exchange between individuals who have items to donate or sell and is not for the use of vendors or distributors.

- 1What type of equipment can be listed?Any device that assists a person with a disability to live more independently or safely may be submitted. DATI advises against selling (and buying) used software. If you decide to sell your used software through the AT Exchange, please comply with the terms outlined in the license agreement that accompanies the software.
- 2What type of equipment will not be listed on the AT Exchange?Supplies and equipment such as ventilators, oxygen equipment, and catheters will not be accepted. Items posing hygiene or safety risks will not be listed.
