Easterseals Crossroads has been helping individuals with disabilities and special needs, and their families, live better lives for 80 years. Their Assistive Technology Center provides assistive technology, equipment, and services to individuals with disabilities and can often loan selective technology devices for up to three months. These devices can be high-tech in nature, as well as low-tech or no-tech solutions that greatly increase the employment opportunities of individuals with disabilities.

SAWs, a mission of the Greencastle Presbyterian Church, serves the physically handicapped in Putnam County. By building handicap ramps, steps, and safety railings, SAWs strives to provide freedom and assistance to citizens with handicaps that prevent or restrict access and mobility. Each project is supported by grants and donations, allowing SAWs to provide these services completely free of charge and with no strings attached! They construct high quality removable and reusable wooden wheelchair ramps for individuals in the community who cannot otherwise afford to free themselves from the imprisonment of their own homes.

Easterseals Crossroads and the INDATA Project have collaborated to create a digital library that allows individuals to view the inventory of assistive technology devices that are available for loan. In addition to items available for loan through the INDATA Project, there are a number of individuals who are listing items for sale or giveaway. Please contact that individual for terms.
